I am pleased that you have made inquiry about the Diocese of Long Island. In our mission statement we recognize that we are "…being transformed by the reconciling love of Christ…" and "… are called to share that love with each other and the world."

In seeking to respond to this challenge, we share with you our attempts to be contemporary disciples of Jesus Christ. We are a multi-racial, multi-cultural, multi-ethnic community of faith, attempting to respond to the promises of the Baptismal Covenant expressed in the Book of Common Prayer.
